ACE Certified Personal Trainer

So excited-my box arrived!

My first step in the direction of "what I want to be when I grow up." I am going to take the ACE cert test and become a personal trainer! Next few months, these books are gonna have a lot of my attention!!!

I have my work cut out for me!! Lots to study!!

Once Wes gets into school, I'll have the opportunity to go back as well. While I am still deciding what exactly for, this is going to be a crucial step no matter what career I choose!!

By the way-I keep trying to get Jacoby walking with his walker on camera, but as soon as I get the video camera up, he stops...what a stinker!

Jacoby feeding himself some bananas. I fed him the jar, then let him play with it afterwards. This is the first time he's really gotten the spoon in the jar and to his mouth so well.

It's Friday!!

Well it finally has arrived! Friday! Woo-hoo!!

It's been a busy week at the Jordan house! Wes had off from school which was really nice, but put in a lot of hours, even some over nights at the hospital. He should be off pretty early today though, which is really nice because we have a busy weekend ahead of us-and it'll be nice starting it out early! We're headed to Kenzie's favorite restraunt tonight-chick fil a-for dinner. Tomorrow Aunt Summer and Uncle Jason are in town and we are having lunch with them at Mimi's, there's a date night for Wes and I tomorrow night (yea!) and going swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Jordan's on Sunday. I was talking to Kenz about it this morning and so now she just keeps telling me, "we have 5 things to do this weekend, it's going to be SO busy!"

Jacoby cut another tooth! An upper one, so now we are up to 4 teeth! He also did not sleep good again last night, so it was coffee for me the first thing this morning :) Him and Preslee have really started playing-and it's adorable! The other day, it was the funniest typical little boy & girl routine. Wes and I couldnt stop laughing! For about an hour they were doing this: Jacoby would push around a little tykes 5 key piano, Preslee would chase him. Then he would stop and bang on the piano and she would stop, listen and clap for him. I know without a doubt-he was trying to be a stinker and rub in the fact that he had the piano and was playing it to taunt her, not sharing at all, and she was chasing him around thinking that he was playing the piano just for her, and she was applauding his performance. It was great!

He also turns 11 months on Sunday-how did that happen! I got invites out for the birthday party already, and I love the evite system! That was so great, so easy, I hope no one is offended by not getting paper invites anymore, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be sticking with evite.com!

I only have a 2 weeks left with my girls here, then we will be starting summer. Our first week is VBS at church and a new friend, Landon, coming to play during the day! Kenz and I were laying out some summer plans this morning, pretty excited about it!

Last Final!

Wes just left to take his last final of this semester! Then he has a 3 week break at home with us before summer school starts up! Yea for seeing Wes around the house more! So thankful for that! Kenz has started asking, with everything we do, "Is Daddy going to be there too?" Our schedule has been tough, I know it will be worth it, but still tough right now!

On the lighter side, he gets to make the trip to Dallas with us TOMORROW! Lot's to celebrate this weekend: AJ graduating, Mother's Day, and getting to meet baby Ethan, Kenz and Jacoby's new cousin! We'll leave tomorrow soon as the kids get picked up from our house, then it's North we go!

Kenzie just wrote Mommy! On her own, she used the writing book, but instead of tracing the letters, wrote the letters up above the word! So proud of my baby girl-and was quite a gift for this momma for mother's day! Of course, on the other hand, she told me she wanted to make a mother's day card for her uncle AJ....I tried to explain that Mother's day was for mother's and that we could make Uncle AJ a graduation card. She did-and I think AJ will be proud to hang it up at his new job on Monday!

Lacey's Baby Shower

Well I think everything turned out really cute! Lacey had lots of friends and family show up and I think everyone had a good time! Here's some of the decor pictures.

Now, time to relax! We got to go to a grill out for Blair's (Lacey's hubby) bday tonight which was great! Good time with friends! They bought a pool for the back yard so the girls had a great time swimming! So did Jacoby-just kicked back in his float! He was making everyone laught! The kid knew how to relax!! And now time for some sleep-todays been a busy day! G'night all!

Busy Friday!

Busy busy busy! I'll have all 4 of the kiddos here during the day, getting ready for Lacey's baby shower tomorrow, going to work out as soon as kids get picked up, then straight to Karen's house to make some of the treats for the shower tomorrow. I found a picture online that I'm trying to copy for the shower layout tomorrow. I'm hoping it turns out as cute! I'll post pics tomorrow after it's all set up.

Really no point to this post except that I'm very proud of myself I posted again! :) Gotta keep this thing going!

Hopefully the kids will do something super cute today and I can put a picture of that up!
