7 week update

7 weeks

She already loves to love on her Baby Jordan!

Long way to go!

Kenz is writing on the picture frame how many weeks until Baby Jordan-33 to go!

7 week update

Size of baby: length of a Tic Tac and about as heavy as an eyelash

Total weight gain/loss: +3

Maternity clothes: I bought some the other day from a posting I found on facebook. Tried on some capris the next day, can't lie-they were way more comfortable than my regular jeans. Lacey also returned all my maternity clothes to me today, and passed on hers. So when they are ready, so am I. I am currently wearing my smallest size jeans today and have them buttoned, just fine! That's exciting!! I think I swelled pretty bad right at first, but that seems to maybe even be going down a bit, hoping my energy picks back up REALLY fast though-got a half marathon in 16 weeks!

Gender:  We won't find out. Talked about it, but I love the surprise and really don't want it any other way! Main reason we were deliberating over it, for Kenzie's sake, and for figuring out bedroom situation. But we have decided to just put Kenzie and Jacoby in the same room for a while and keep nursery a nursery.

Movement:  None yet

Sleep:  Pretty restless, figured out though that sugar REALLY affects me this time around. Any and I'm pretty jittery, so no sweet for me at night. Figured that out after about a week of staring at the ceiling until midnight or 1am. The decaf coffee with no calorie sweetener was doing it to me!

What I miss:  decaf coffee in the evening, or a cookie, maybe some ice cream :)

Cravings:   no specifics, I just want to eat, and thats annoying to me!! Lol

How I'm feeling: Pretty good, some pretty sore back pain last week, but had test done for infections, everything came back good, and nurse said just pregnancy symptoms. Did not like the smell of cooking meat-that did not go over well at all!

Highlight of the week:  Kenzie wanting to tell Baby Jordan (BJ) good night and gave BJ a hug last night. Also announcing! Got to post the pictures of the new shirts! Kenz also told her friend Lauren today that's she's going to be a big sister again. I think it stuck out to me, because we hadn't been talking about it at all. She said it on her own without any coaxing! Let's see, also made Kenz's countdown chain and hung it in baby room. Going to start taking pictures with her weekly as she cuts down another chain and writes number down. Hopefully it will help her realize, its going to be a while, but we are getting closer and closer each week!

We have a walker!

Jacoby is pulling up, all by himself, and taking a few steps at a time now! He's very proud of himself-looks around for someone to clap for him. This is of course only the best video I have so far, trying to get him set up to walk, then get camera rolling, so difficult!

We had a visit from our elf today! She left a note for the kids about how excited she is there is going to be another Jordan baby and how well kenz is playing with her friends tho week (there are 5 kids in the house this week!) She also told kenz that Santa is feeding the reindeer at noon today and she has set up a way for us to watch, so at noon were gonna watch Santa feed reindeer online-very cool! I'm pretty sure I'm more excited about it than she is though-oh we'll!

I'm 7 weeks today! I made a weekly countdown chain for kenz, well do some fun weekly pictures, gotta get hair and makeup done first though :)

Big News!

Here is Makenzie and Jacoby's Big News!

We tried to keep it queit for a while, however, as I've read about many other's third pregnancy-I'm pretty sure I'm already showing a little! So it was time to spread the news!

First Dr's appt is in Aug! Very excited to go!

We're planning on moving Jacoby into Kenz room and leave nursery just the way it is. We wont find out again, so if its a little girl, Wes will have some painting duties after the baby is born!

So-we get to redo the kids room! Which I am very excited about! Did not like the way Kenz room turned out last time, and ready to redo it. I have looked and looked for kids bedspreads that match but are still boy/girl and the only place that has any that I like is of course Pottery Barn Kids, which of course is super expensive! Not quite in our budget right now! SOOO we're going kind of classic. Kids are getting red duvet covers Im going to get from ikea, and his side will be baseball, and her side will be ladybug. All black, white, and red. No crazy colored stuff. Which is a lot harder to find that I had imagined, so that is my current project right now! I'm ready to get started-so be expecting some pictures coming of the work in progress!

Well kids are both up and crying WAY to early from their nap.

More triathlon pictures

Here's some pictures from during the event! So crazy to see them-it was a great experience! Between some lessons learned, more training, and some better equipment-i'm hoping to easily shave at least 20 minutes off my time for next year. I'd love to finish this race in under an hour!

Almost done.

Lake Nasworthy Triathlon

My first triathlon! It was so much fun! Can't wait to do another one! It was a 300m swim, 10 mile bike and 2 mile run. Didnt stop at all, ran the whole thing and finished in 1:15:30! Not to bad considering 1) first race-learned alot of tips that will save a lot of time for the next race 2) my chain fell of my bike and it took like 5 minutes to get the bike going again 3) mountain bikes are not good triathlon bikes! I have started saving up already for a new road bike!

Wes video taped a lot of it, so I'm hoping I can pull some pictures from there of me in some of the different events. He said he's running it with me next year!

Had to get a sticker for the car. Already have my 13.1 sticker for when I run the half marathon in November!

4th of July

For our 4th of July, we started by going to the Pops Concert down town in San Angelo at the River Stage. Big fireworks, and the whole time makenzie had her ears covered, sitting in Mimi's lap some, then as soon as the fireworks started she was in mine and wouldn't budge, just shaking! She was milking it though, had her Mimi feeding her so she wouldn't have to move her hands! But the boy was great-he had some crackers and an apple juice box-he could of cared less about the fireworks!

How I started my morning: coffee and a brownie!

mmmmmmm
4th of July Morning, we went to the Santa Rita Kids parade, open for everyone! Kenzie's (and Jacoby's) first parade to participate in!

My sweet baby girl

Went to the park that afternoon.

These were the best two shots of the both of them that I got that whole afternoon! So hard to get them both looking and smiling!

Trying to stand up

Did some painting that afternoon!

It's no fun if you dont get dirty!

Happy 4th of July!
And played in the sand box while daddy grilled out that night!

Jacoby's Bday Party

Finally getting around to posting!

I took Jacoby to get his pictures taken on his birthday at Sears-big mistake, the guy was horrible. However, yall will profit from a number of pictures of Jacoby from that day because the guy gave me some freebies since he knew he did so bad. Lol. Here is one of the pictures that I took after he deserted us in the photo studio. I think it might have turned out to be my favorite from that whole day!

Birthday Boy enjoying his first ever cupcake!
Then we went to the mall play ground and had some friends meet us at chickfila for lunch to celebrate!

Kenz with her gluten free egg free cupcake-they really didnt turn out to bad!

After working out, I took the kids to the play ground that evening, Jacoby had a pretty good time!

He loved the tunnel! He crawled back and forth almost the whole time!

My poor baby did run fever after his first year check up, had 103.4 fever until Friday night then it finally broke-so he was ready to party on Saturday! Birthday party was a success! Everyone said they had a really good time!

I ♥ cupcakes!

Pool Party

Enjoying the sand box Pop Pop built!
This is Ms. Preslee who comes to stay with us during the year while her momma is teaching.  We're excited to have her come back again in August! She'll turn 1 this month.

Here she is walking! Jacoby-we gotta get you walking by Aug-you're gonna have to keep up!

I'm still waiting on some more pictures from my mother (ahem!) so hopefully she has one of Jacoby eating his cupcake and opening a gift or two from that day! I'll get them up when I get them!
